New Alberta Education Curriculum Development - We Want to Hear From You!

Education is the foundation our province is built upon. The skills we teach our children, from the beginning, shape our society and economy in the future. The development of a new K-12 curriculum will ensure the success of our kids, and the continued success of Alberta.

The  Government of Alberta and Ministry of Education is seeking YOUR input into the development of a new curriculum. What would you like to see taught in schools today? What does a successful education system look like to you? Please share your perspective and ideas until November 18th, 2016 at . Parents and teachers - we would like to have your input as to where you see strengths and gaps in our current curriculum.

Face-to-face sessions to discuss the curriculum review will be facilitated by Alberta Education and the Alberta Regional Professional Development Consortia. Parents, teachers, and education stakeholders will have the chance to meet across the province to discuss the direction of our education curriculum. More information on these face-to-face sessions can be found at: .

Please share this information widely with your family, friends and colleagues. I look forward to hearing the feedback from neighbours, community associations, and Calgary-Buffalo residents.
