Ganley Addresses Provincial Court Backlogs with New Judge Appointments
Minister Ganley has recently filled four new Provincial Court positions for judges in Wetaskiwin, Grand Prairie and two in Edmonton as well as one vacant position in Peace River. In addition, funding was added to create positions for 55 new court clerks, 13 more bail clerks, and up to 10 Crown prosecutors. So far, the bail clerks have all been appointed as well as 40 of the court clerks and 4 crown prosecutors.
